Why an X video download may fail.

Check the post link and source availability

Use a link to one public post or broadcast, rather than a profile, Space, search page or screenshot. Open the source on X to check that the media is still available. A video you can view while signed in may still be private or restricted; Clipmora does not use your personal X session.

The connection to X was interrupted

An upstream error can occur while opening the playlist or receiving a media segment. Wait briefly, find the video again to refresh its source, then retry. Persistent errors may affect one broadcast while other videos work. Repeated clicks do not speed up preparation and can trigger request limits.

The beginning of a live stream is unavailable

A live stream does not always expose its entire history. Select Recheck availability to refresh the archive information. If the beginning cannot be verified, use recent past footage or record what comes next. Past footage is fixed when processing begins; future recording starts near the live edge when your turn begins.

The queue, transfer allowance or file limit was reached

A queued job starts when a processing slot becomes free. If the temporary transfer allowance is exhausted, return later; direct MP4 links may still work. For a file that is too large or takes too long, select a lower quality or shorter interval. Prepared files are limited to 200 MB and 10 minutes of preparation.

A ready download link has expired

Prepared files are temporary, with links lasting 15 minutes. Find the source again and prepare a new copy if the link has expired. Downloaded files already saved to your device are unaffected. If the page looks outdated after an update, reload it before starting another job.
